Wendy Wilton is a training consultant with Wilton Consulting Inc. where she specializes in the development and delivery of customized face-to-face and online training. Wendy has developed courses for various clients in very diverse fields including health care, finance, energy and educational fields. Clients include, The University of Alberta, U of A School of Business Executive Education, University of Calgary, ATB Financial, Enbridge Pipelines Inc., NAIT (Shaw Communications, CEDA, City of Edmonton), and Government of Alberta Culture and Community Spirit.

Wendy received her Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Alberta in 1991. After several years working in training and development, and witnessing the trend towards the growth of distance and e-Learning Wendy was inspired to fulfill her dream of attaining an advanced degree. This achievement came in the form of a Master of Distance Education degree from Athabasca University. To her delight, Wendy had the added honour of receiving the Governor General’s Academic Gold Medal, awarded to the student who achieves the highest academic standing at the graduate level.

Continuous learning both personally and professionally are extremely important. Attending various workshops and conferences over the years has helped to hone skills and broaden breadth and depth of knowledge on a number of topics keeping Wendy’s passion for teaching and learning alive.

Through her facilitation, Wendy has been privileged to meet hundreds of people and she continues to learn and develop with each course/workshop session taught. A personal philosophy that learning should be fun and engaging has brought accolades from participants across the country touting Wendy as teacher who inspires the best in others.

Wendy is certified in both Myers Briggs Type Indicator facilitation (Step 1 & 2) and True Colors.


Kim and Wendy co-facilitate a blended delivery program for the University of Alberta, Executive Education, School of Business, called, “The Leadership Development Program”. They also collaborate by designing and delivering new leadership initiatives that are interesting and engaging.
